If affordability is your top priority, Romania is hard to beat. Tuition starts at just €2,000 a year, and living costs are among the lowest in Europe.

For Pakistani students: After graduation, you can stay for 9 months to find a job. Work for 5 years to apply for Romanian permanent residency. EU citizenship after 8 years. Romanian medical universities (especially in Cluj, Bucharest, and Târgu Mureș) are very popular among Pakistani students—degrees are recognized by PMC/PMDC. Romanian people are friendly, and there's a growing Pakistani community. Bucharest is vibrant and affordable. Halal food is available in major cities. EU membership means you can travel freely across Europe.
